The Level 1 course has been designed to open doors in the career of instructors or professionals who start working full time or part time; for teachers or coaches who want to improve or expand their knowledge; and for players or enthusiasts who want to know the basics of teaching and improve their own performance. To participate in it is necessary to have a minimum age of 18 years.

In addition, during the new RPG Level 1 course we will analyse with progressions the basic strokes of Golf: Putt / short, medium and long), Chip (short, medium and long), Pitch, Bunker (standard shot), Irons and Woods. For this, we will start from a basic set up position with 3 keys, 3 progressions for each stroke and the 4 positions in the swing. Finally, we will analyse the basic aspects in the organization of a golf program.
At the end of Level 1, all persons who have completed the course, can opt for the written and practical exam to obtain the National Qualification of the Registro Profesional de Golf – RPG, and the European qualification of the European Registry of Golf Professionals:

The test are divided into 3 parts: Written, Teaching and Shot Demonstration. The written test consists of 50 questions totalling 100 points. The teaching test is a golf lesson to a group of students. In the shot demonstration test you must demonstrate your ability to execute the different strokes. All the subjects and content of the tests are covered in the course of Level 1 of the Registro Profesional de Golf – RPG (Registry of Golf Professionals). In addition, a continuous evaluation will be carried out during the days of the course to each of the participants, which will determine the final result.
According to the results of the exams and the continuous assessment of the student, three levels of degree are established:
– INSTRUCTOR: You must obtain between 80% and 100% in the 3 parts of the exam.
– INSTRUCTOR II: You must obtain between 65% and 80% in the 3 parts.
– AFFILIATED: When you get less than 65% in the 3 parts.
In the Level 1 Course the following hours will be allocated:
1 – Registration, Study & Preparation:
Once you have made the registration and payment of the reservation fee of 300€ to guarantee your place in the RPG course (450€ for the Integral course) through our website, we will provide you with a WES key, via email, so that you can enter our educational platform and prepare the course. There you will find, and you can download the course manual and watch all the videos with information about what we will work on in the course. This WES key will be active until December 31st of the current year, so you can consult the content as many times as you consider necessary.
2 – On-site training
Before starting the RPG course or on the first day of the course you must pay 390€ (650€ for the Accelerated Course or 1.000€ for the Integral Course) to take the course. In all our RPG training programs, attendance in person is mandatory to qualify for the RPG qualifications and their professional equivalencies. All our courses have a simple, easy and 100% practical methodology. During the course you will have to review every day the information you have been given. Remember to bring the course manual printed or on your digital device (mobile, iPad or computer) when you participate in the classroom course so you can follow the course.
3. Practical Hours
Once you have finished the course you will have to send us, if you have obtained the qualification of “INSTRUCTOR”, a certificate that you have done 50 hours of practical teaching with golf players. The certificate must be signed by the Director or Manager of the Golf School where you have done the practical hours, or by each of the students to whom you have taught the hours. Once you send us this certificate we will send you the corresponding qualifications. In the RPG Club section of this website, you can download the certificate of practical hours, as a model to follow, which specifies how you must submit it.
4 – RPG Club Services
Once you have finished the course and completed the corresponding exams, we will register you in the Civil Liability Insurance so that you will be covered while you are doing the practical hours. From this moment on you will be able to enjoy all the services offered by the RPG Club and when you have sent us the certificate of practical hours, we will send you the Professional License, along with all the corresponding qualifications: National, European, United States and International, along with the professional accreditations. All RPG Club services will remain active until December 31st of the current year.
If you have experience as a player or have already taught some golf lessons, we recommend you take the RPG Accelerated course which includes the Level 1 Course: SBIntiation and Level 2 Course: SBIntermediate for a single price of 950€.
- RPG Club Comprehensive Professional Services that will be valid until 31 December of the current year, and include:
Individual Civil Liability Insurance in the amount of 600,000 €, for Spain and Portugal.

International Golf Teaching and Coaching License.
Once you have taken and completed the RPG professional training programmes, and once you have passed the corresponding exams/tests, you will receive a new professional license to teach and coach Golf granted by the International Registry of Golf Professionals (RPG International), the United States Registry of Golf Professionals (RPG USA), the European Registry of Golf Professionals (RPG Europe) and the Registro Profesional de Golf (RPG).
The contribution of the RPG to the development and success of Golf will be decisive, with its international leadership with professional training programs and in the certification of Golf coaches, with the SECURITY & GUARANTEE of its PROFESSIONAL LICENSE for teaching the sport of GOLF worldwide.
Professional accreditation
Once you have completed the RPG training programmes, and once you have passed the corresponding exams/tests, you will receive a new professional accreditation from the International Coaches Institute, and another from the Registry of Golf Professionals, where the hours completed and distributed according to the levels finished and the qualifications obtained will be certified, through the following areas: Onsite Training, Study & Preparation, Online Training, Personal Development and Professional Experience, with the aim of tackling with guarantees the future new framework for the regulation of the profession and sports qualifications.
International Certifications
Once you have completed the RPG training programmes, and once you have passed the corresponding exams/tests, you will receive the qualifications from the United States Registry of Golf Professionals – RPG USA and the International Registry of Golf Professionals – RPG International. In addition, you will also receive certification from the European Registry of Golf Professionals – RPG Europe and the Registro Profesional de Golf.
In addition, you will also receive professional certification from the European Registry of Golf Professionals – RPG Europe and the Professional Golf Registry – RPG. All RPG qualifications are recognized and endorsed by the International Coaches Institute, which since 1989 has a presence in 131 countries and has more than 65,000 certified sports coaches.
